Switching is easy!
STEP 1
Simply open a
Community Resource Checking Account by applying online.
Print out the application, complete, sign and mail or fax it to us. Once your application is processed,
we will contact you
with your checking account number.
STEP 2
If
you’re currently signed up for automatic deposits or
withdrawals with another financial institution, advise
those organizations to discontinue this service. Sign up here to start
direct deposit to your Community Resource
checking account. Sign up here to transfer an automatic payment from previous checking account to your Community Resource
checking account.
STEP 3
Wait approximately 30
to 60 days before closing your old checking account to make
sure all outstanding checks have cleared, and any automatic
deposits/withdrawals have been rerouted to your Community
Resource checking account. At that time, send the Account Close
and Transfer Form to
your previous financial institution to close the account
and have the balance mailed to you or to Community
Resource, whichever you prefer.
