STEP 1

Simply open a Community Resource Checking Account by applying online. Once your application is processed, we will contact you with your checking account number.

STEP 2

If you’re currently signed up for automatic deposits or withdrawals with another financial institution, advise those organizations to discontinue this service. Sign up here to start automatic deposit/withdrawal from your Community Resource checking account.

STEP 3

Wait approximately 30 to 60 days before closing your old checking account to make sure all outstanding checks have cleared, and any automatic deposits/withdrawals have been rerouted to your Community Resource checking account. At that time, send the Account Close and Transfer Form to your previous financial institution to close the account and have the balance mailed to you or to Community Resource, whichever you prefer.
