The Supervisory Committee is the watchdog of the Credit Union. The Committee is responsible for making sure that members' interests are protected, as well as the interests of the Credit Union's officials. The Supervisory Committee conducts an annual audit and has a continuing responsibility to ensure that the Credit Union's financial records and operations are in order.
The Asset/Liability Management Committee identifies, manages and controls the amount of risk the Credit Union assumes as part of normal operations, while ensuring adequate earnings and net worth. The Committee develops asset/liability strategies and tactics; monitors, reviews, evaluates, and recommends rates for the Credit Union's products to the Board of Directors; and monitors, reviews, and evaluates investment portfolio activity. The ALM Committee meets monthly.
The Human Resource/Compensation Committee is responsible for making sure that employees' and volunteers' benefits are appropriately supplied and balanced. The Committee conducts an annual review of employees' benefits and recommends goals.
The Board of Directors maintains the general direction and control of the Credit Union. This includes, but is not limited to, guiding the organization to fulfill its vision, purpose, and mission; setting all policies which guide the affairs of the Credit Union; and ensuring that those policies are properly implemented in accordance with the Credit Union's charter, bylaws, applicable federal and state laws, sound business practices, and members' desires. Directors are voted in by the membership for three-year terms. The Board meets monthly.
